Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. is one of 8 Paper Excellence mills in Canada. The world's first successful zero-effluent-discharge market pulp mill that is a state-of-the-art, chlorine-free bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) facility with approximately 200 employees and an annual production capacity of 414,000 ADMT.
The Management Systems Coordinator provides certification support to the management team to ensure the successful implementation and continuous improvement of certification systems. Current systems include: the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Program for the Endorsement of Certification Schemes (PEFC), the ISO 9001:2015 Quality standard, and the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental standard.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external audit programs
- Maintain the Quality, Environmental & Chain of Custody Management Systems
- Create, review, and edit documents
- Create and circulate reports
- Develop and maintain working relationships with all levels throughout the organization
- Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- A certificate, degree, or designation in business, social sciences, or forestry, and/or experience
- Audit experiencepreparing and executing full audit cycle activities (or willingness to train)
- Experience with project coordination activities
- Administrative skillsability to plan and manage activities and tasks, attention to detail, retain records and files, create, review, and edit documents
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and basic computer programs or database system
- Strong communication skillsverbal and written
- Organizational skills attention to detail, flexible, and able to multi-task
- Critical thinking, self-motivated, able to troubleshoot, and research problems independently
- Industrial experience is considered an asset
- Experience working with an ISO certified organization is considered an asset
