Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the servers
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
Prepare food and beverage orders from the serving staff or directly from the customers
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Collect the payment for meals and beverages and record sales
Maintain the dining area and bar area clean and tidy
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Deal with the customers complaints promptly and properly when the manager is not at duty
Ensure the service compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations
