The Home and Community Care Nurse (HCCN) will provide general community health nursing services to residents of Carry the Kettles Assiniboine Reserve. The HCCN is required to be knowledgeable and skillful in the nursing process as it relates to health education, promotion, treatment and preventive services. It is required to be professionally trained, a registered member of the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association and, as such, to be knowledgeable and skillful in the nursing process as it relates to health education, health promotion, minor treatment and preventive services.
The principal responsibilities of the HCCN is that nursing services to clients who require Home and Community Care. All services provided are to be carried in a fashion that meets CTKCHS, FNIH and Provincial reporting requirements.
