We are currently accepting applications for the permanent full-time position of Payroll Clerk/HR Generalist. The HR functions are intended to be for a temporary 12 month period, filling a maternity leave, after which the position will revert to a full-time payroll/administration position.
Key accountabilities include:
Entering payroll data and processing bi-weekly employee pay;
Administering employee benefits plan;
General HR duties including administering a Collective Bargaining Agreement, recruitment, orientation, monitoring attendance, disciplines, workplace investigations, WCB/Disability claims and processing new hire information.
Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma related to payroll or accounting;
Post-secondary degree/diploma and/or demonstrated Human Resources work experience;
Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification would be a definite asset.
