CFS is seeking an energetic, flexible, knowledgeable, skilled individual able to work with a diverse clientele as an Anxiety Community Program Coordinator.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To determine program needs with the support of the Director of Community Programs
To develop and deliver anxiety programming to fit the identified needs of the community, in consultation with the Director of Community Programs
To carry out duties required for programming including coordination, facilitation, evaluation as well as statistical and written reporting
To review, revise and evaluate programming on an ongoing basis
To serve on community committees and liaise with community agencies
To connect, build and nurture relationships with community stakeholders
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in social work or other related field.
Demonstrated strong ethical conduct and professional integrity.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and community partners.
Strength based perspective.
Knowledge of following issues: anxiety; trauma; family systems; attachment; child development; human development; behaviour; change; communication; crisis intervention; addictions; violence and abuse; and conflict resolution.
Knowledge and experience with issues relating to Newcomers and Aboriginal groups.
