We are a Teen Support Childcare Centre located in Balcarres Community School and we are looking for a childcare worker to join our team.
This is a contracted full-time position. You will be caring for children newborn to 5 years of age. A key part of the role is providing a flexible, calm, nurturing environment for the children in our care, as well as, our student parents.

REQUIREMENTS:

To succeed in this position you will need:

* First Aid and CPR-C certificate
* Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector query
* Early Childhood Education/Diploma or currently working towards it
* A genuine interest in working with children
* A knowledge of the "Play and Exploration" approach
* A good understanding of the Daycare provincial regulations and Licenses Manual
* A strong team player
* Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision
* Previous experience is an asset
