Sherwood Forest Golf and Country Club is looking for enthusiastic people to join our pro shop team. We are hiring part time / full time pro shop attendants.
Enjoy the fast paced and fun atmosphere of our ever busy pro shop! You will be in charge of checking in golfers and maintaining the flow of our busy course, doing everything from booking tee times, receiving payments, parking and general cleaning of golf carts. Sherwood hosts over a hundred tournaments a season, these are fast paced exciting and not to mention fun to help with. We also look after camping and member sites so getting involved with everything is what makes Sherwood fun and a great experience for anyone willing to learn.
Sherwood Forest Golf and Country Club is located just 10 minutes west of Regina straight down Dewdney Avenue, with only one right hand turn (north) on Range Road 2212 until you drive into the valley.
We are dedicated to high quality standards, as well as great service. We are looking for people who are passionate and love to be challenged on a daily basis.
The duties of the Pro Shop Attendant include collecting retail and fee sales; greeting customers (members, daily green fee players and tournament players); ensuring the Pro Shop and rental equipment are clean and in working order on a daily basis; using the computer reservation system, making tee time reservations for members, non-members and tournaments; working closely with the starters and marshals to ensure smooth operation and traffic flow on the course.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with computers; cash register skills; ability to use credit card and debit card machines; knowledge of golfing; customer service skills and/ or retail sales experience; ability to work closely within a team environment to ensure the smooth running of the entire Pro Shop operation (both inside and outside). Must be available weekends.
