Description

Drive a 1-5 ton commercial vehicle to deliver and or pick up freights to assigned stops within Saskatoon and surrounding areas
Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time
Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck
Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
Report on all safety hazards and accidents
Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
Provide excellent customer service
Build strong client relationships
Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
Additional duties as required

What we require of you:
High School Diploma
Valid Class 5 License is a must
Clean Commercial and Personal Drivers Abstract
Courier or LTL experience is an asset
Minimum 1 year Commercial driving experience
This shift will be Monday to Friday from 7AM start times working 9 hours/day
Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or a pallet truck
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
Customer Focus  experience providing quality customer service
Adaptable to change
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Experience working independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to work on a team and being a team player
Must be comfortable with using onboard or handheld computer devices
Must have a safety and compliance mind set
