The Before and After School Program Supervisor shall represent Sun Country Kids Club Inc. by maintaining a positive and profession attitude. As well as maintaining a fun and safe environment for the children.
The Before and After School Supervisor position is a part time position every day the students are in class as well as non-school days/holidays throughout the school year at our day camp facility.
Applicants must have valid First Aid/CPR certification to be considered for this position
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reporting to the Sun country Kids Club Inc. Executive Director and Programming and Events Coordinator;
- Supervise their staff of Program Leaders making sure they are showing up on time and working on scheduled days;
- Assist Program Leaders with program planning and implementation (physical activity for 30 minutes per day including gym time, outdoor activities when possible)
- Ensure program planning is carried out;
- Keep good working relationship with the principal, caretaker, Sun Country Kids Club staff as well as school staff members;
- Monitor the program to be sure that all children are being looked after and that all staff are interacting with the children;
- Ensure the children registered for the programs are in attendance, track attendance and have knowledge of all policies and procedures of Sun Country Kids Club Inc.
- Assist or do month end calculations;
- Meet with the program Manager when requested;
- Ensure monthly calendar and bulletin board is visible;
- Report to Sun Country Kids Club Office weekly and keep lines of communication open.
Free childcare available for supervisor's children grades 1 to grade 6.
High school students are welcome to apply. Hours would include 7:30am - 8:30am and 3:00pm - 5:30pm
