Job Description: Under the direction of the Team Lead, Workforce Planning & Employment Strategies, the Human Resources Consultant is responsible for research, development and implementation of initiatives that will improve recruitment & retention.  This position is directly responsible for development and management of effective and efficient recruitment and retention services for the Saskatchewan Health Authority.  They are directly responsible for providing and/or overseeing a full range of internal and external recruitment services for all classifications and levels within the organization structure and for ensuring the requirements created by formal standards are met.

Required Qualifications:
A University degree or other formal training in Human Resource Management and/or several years experience in Human Resources administration
An ability to lead the change process within the areas of responsibility
Effective verbal and written skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and use participatory decision-making
Ability to manage and resolve conflict
Ability to exhibit professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential matters
Ability to deal effectively in a variety of situations, maintaining fairness and diplomacy in dealing with employees and managers

Expected Start Date: September 9, 2019
Expected Up To Date: September 4, 2020
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours
