A qualified equipment operator will be expected to have experience in and willing to do the following:
Operating skidsteer, mini excavator etc. Read blue prints and specs for projects Complete daily job site journals Maintenance on equipment operated Help with maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment Hold a valid class 5 license Provide own transportation to project sites Ability to read grades Ability to finish grade Ability to sub-grade Perform to site clean-ups Ability to load and unload equipment on trailers Ability to operate various control patterns
Beneficial Skills And Knowledge To Have
Ability to operate truck and trailer Have a valid class 5 drivers license with abstract Knowledge of chaining equipment Ability to operate various pieces of equipment Valid first-aid certificate WHMIS training
