The RM of Corman Park No. 344 is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Asphalt Truck Driver. This is a full-time seasonal position.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Ability to operate a heavy truck/trailer unit and loader.
- Familiar with asphalt procedures using a tandem truck.
- Prior knowledge of packers, trucks, loaders and asphalt equipment.
- Good mechanical and equipment service ability of packers, trucks, loader and asphalt equipment.
- Will be approachable and flexible in dealing with members of the public and staff to develop and maintain positive work relationships.
- Ability to accurately comprehend information from written or verbal instruction
- Adaptable to changing work situations and demonstrates an ability to be self motivated.
- Ability to record and maintain production reports, custom work reports, equipment service and repair reports.
- Possess a valid Class 1A drivers licence preferred
-A clear Drivers Abstract is mandatory.
- Grade 12 education is preferred.
