We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development in the Corporate Planning and Improvement Branch, this position is responsible for the design, development and delivery of e-learning and other learning initiatives. This position will often work with subject matter experts to help take technical information related to the work we do and turn it into learner friendly e-learning.

The successful candidate will design, develop, coordinate, and deliver online and blended corporate learning solutions using instructional design methodologies and adult learning best practice standards; analyze learning and development needs within the Ministry; and create and maintain on-boarding materials and tools.

To be successful in this position the required knowledge, skills and attributes are typically obtained through a degree in Education, Computer Science, Business Administration and/or a combination of relevant education and experience of two years developing e-learning; a certificate in Adult Education: to incorporate principles of adult education into the design, development and delivery of learning that meets adult learner needs; and
experience in design, development and delivering e-learning; including building storyboards, graphic design software, e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
