Description

Gravelbourg Bon Ami Inc. is a non-profit Community Living Service. We provide a Day Program, Group Home and Supportive Living Program to assist each individual client to achieve a full quality of life. We have operated for 30 years out of our well maintained facilities.  The Executive Director operates within policies established by the Board of Directors to reach the vision, mission, and objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
    Organizing and administering the day-to-day program operations.
    Ensuring the proper administration of policies, legislation, and collective agreement.  
    Building strong working relationships with community, government, staff, and participants.
    Hiring, orientating, training, delegating, supervising, evaluating, and releasing staff.
    Managing money; including budgeting and fundraising.
    Provides leadership to 15+ program staff.
    Oversees the Gravelbourg SARCAN Recycling depot.

The Ideal Candidate has:
    Education in fields such as business administration, rehabilitation services, human resources, social work or education is preferred.
    Experience in financial management, human resources management, and program development for persons with disabilities would be beneficial.
    3-5 years of management and supervisory experience.
    Knowledge and skills in accounting practices, bookkeeping, and payroll. Proficiency in Sage accounting is an asset.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, strategic planning, and problem solving skills.
    Ability to work with confidential information with integrity and trust.
    Experience and desire to work with people with differing abilities.

Compensation:
Compensation based on a salary grid with pension and benefits available. Forty hour work week with flexible hours to meet the demands of the agency. Must be bondable.
