The Executive Director (ED) provides leadership and overall management direction to the Options Pregnancy Centre (OPC) and has full responsibility for all day-to day operations of the centre. The ED is directly responsible to the Board of Directors, and reports to the Board of Directors and/or the Chair of the Board of Directors regularly. The primary areas of responsibility will be administrative, client service, development, and community relations/public relations. The ED may enable other staff/volunteers to complete some of the EDs responsibilities according to the giftedness of the staff/volunteers
Qualifications:
Adheres to the policies, Statement of Faith and Statement of Principle as outlined in OPC documentation. Professes a faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and places high value on human life, both the unborn and the born, and sexual purity.
A Bachelors degree, preferably in a related field or related experience equivalent.
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
Competent in Quick Books.
Experience in working within the non-profit organization sector would be an asset
Demonstrates the ability to develop good team relationships by providing spiritual leadership, discipleship, encouragement and direction to the staff (paid and volunteers).
Exemplifies good interpersonal and communication skills, strong decision-making skills, a good listener; self-motivated, dependable.
Previous counselling experience is an asset.
Valid Class 5 Drivers licence and vehicle.
Wage and Benefits:
Wage range $48,000 to $54,000 per year
35 hour work week
Holidays as per the current Saskatchewan Tables of Vacation pay.
12 Statutory paid holidays
Up to 12 days approved sick leave per year.
Paid Training for position and Counselling.
