Dance Instructor
As an instructor of the SIMFC Powwow Song & Dance Program, you will teach Womens Fancy Shawl, Jingle Dress, and Womens Traditional Dance to a group of up to 45 participants, from age 3 years and up.
The position will be an evening term from mid September 2019 until March 2020. Maximum 3 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Relevant combination of work and experience will be considered
Experience in teaching one of the 3 dance styles.
Experience in storytelling and First Nations/Metis history.
Understanding of Saskatoons Aboriginal Community.
Preference will be given to First Nation/Metis Candidates (Please self-identify).
Female Candidate preferred.
