Facility: Nurses Alumni Wing
Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for the provision of psychology services to adults who are experiencing changes in their quality of life due to deterioration of their mental health.  Working collaboratively with a number of MHAS providers and the community, the primary responsibility of the incumbent will be to provide clinical and neuropsychological assessments and counseling to a wide range of adult clients.  The incumbent will work as part of a team focused on providing psychology services to persons in need of assistance with understanding their illness, recovery planning, ongoing engagement and assessment, coordination of services and supports and assist them in improving their quality of life.  Depending on client demand the incumbent may be assigned to provide service and support to other MHAS Teams as required.
Required Qualifications

PhD in Clinical Psychology
Ability to conduct a mental health assessment of a client including obtaining collateral information from caregivers and families.
Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue and complete this requirement if not already registered.
Experience
PhD Internship Training from an accredited training program.

Advanced interpersonal skills
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Thorough knowledge of substance abuse and addictions, cause and effects, evidence based models of treatment intervention and their applic
