Applications are invited for the position of a full-time temporary (7.5 hr/day 10 months) Outreach Worker in Melfort based out of Reynolds Central School with duties to commence October 21st, 2019 and concluding April 16th, 2021.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Integrated Services, the successful applicant will work closely with school administration, staff, parents, the community, and other agencies to implement and coordinate programs for at-risk children as well as develop and implement effective strategies that will support all children and youth.
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelors degree in Social Work or Psychology from a recognized post secondary institution
Experience working with aboriginal children and youth
Experience working with at-risk youth and their families
Strong organizational skills
Be willing to work a flexible schedule
Have a valid drivers licence with access to a motor vehicle
Be willing to join the Local CUPE 4875 union
