Restorex is a COR certified, family-owned company providing 24-hour emergency restoration services to the Regina & Melville areas. We specialize in restoring properties that may have been damaged by fire, water, or sewage.
We are looking for energetic, safety-minded individuals to join our team as full-time Tear Out Water Technician/Labourer. You would be the essential first step to the restoration process handling a variety of responsibilities, including emergency water extracting, demolitions, restorative drying, and fire cleanup.
Job duties include
-Extract water from flooded properties
-Demolition of damaged interiors
-On-call rotation after probation
-Installation of containment for moderate to high-risk work activities
-Remove asbestos containing materials from properties following company procedures
-Familiarity with basic chemical products including use, disposal & Safety Data Sheets
-Ensure company health & safety policies are being followed
-Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other peoples property & information
-Accept direction from management & senior staff
-Other general labor tasks as needed
Requirements
-Positive & professional attitude
-Work as a team
-Physically fit
-Safety conscious and work in provided PPE
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Have a valid drivers license
-Communicate effectively in English both verbally & written
-Legally entitled to work in Canada
Successful candidates must be able to provide a clean criminal record and driver's abstract.
