CONDIE Seed is a seed retail and grain processing facility located 5 minutes from Regina, SK. The well-being and success of our customers come first and we strongly believe in delivering value beyond certified seed.
We are currently seeking a Facility Assistant Manager to assist in the overall operation of our processing facility. This position is responsible for achieving production targets, monitoring safe operating procedures and maintaining the corresponding documents and testing to ensure product quality.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
- Administer and manage the full production process of the plant under the supervision of the Plant Manager
- Contribute to the movement of grain by loading and unloading shipments
- Operate the facility's computer system that runs machinery and equipment
- Conduct continuous inspections of all key process points in the facility while maintaining detailed reports of operations and inventory and performing preventative plant maintenance
- Gather samples for laboratory analysis, perform quality control testing and grading processed product
- Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- A self starter with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience
- Experience in maintenance and repair of processing equipment
- 1A Drivers License is not required but would be considered an asset
