Stryde Contracting Ltd. Is a full service contractor located in Muenster, SK offering residential & commercial new construction, renovations and landscaping.
We are looking for a motivated and dependable carpenter to join our growing team!
This particular position will be mainly focused on exterior cladding, siding, framing, roofing etc.
The ideal candidates must have extensive knowledge regarding carpentry practices as well as possess a great attitude, be detailed orientated, a team player and have exceptional communication skills.
Description of Duties:
- Work with team to complete high-quality jobs on time and on budget
- Work in a pre-planned and efficient manner to ensure all tasks are being completed within the allotted time frame
- Help ensure tools and materials are prepared in advance
- Maintain a zero call back, zero deficiency work quality at all times
- Daily project updates to all required administrative tracking programs
Qualifications:
- Completion of a 2-4 year apprenticeship program, or a combination of over 4 years of work experience in carpentry and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry.
- Recognized and certified knowledge of accepted codes, standards and construction methods.
- Ability to comprehend blueprints, building plans, and other specifications required by our client for information pertaining to the type of material required to get the job done.
- Experience working with equipment such as skid steers and telehandler.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
