RAM Industries Inc.(www.ramindustries.com) is seeking an individual for the full-time role of Marketing Assistant.  

The Marketing Assistant will assist with many aspects of marketing and communication activities for the company's business units. Some of those duties may include:

- Source leads and maintain electronic contact lists for campaign distribution;
- Support updates and creation of marketing materials such as technical product and sales literature, advertisements, product photography, email and online communications;
- Assist with internal and external website updates;
- Perform administrative tasks to help with organization and maintenance of marketing resources; and
- Assist with trade shows event coordination.

Candidates should possess:
- Excellent customer service and administrative experience;
- Above average verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
- A high-level attention to detail; and
- The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Above average computer experience is required. The position requires a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular).  Experience using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is an asset.  Experience with effective design and photography principals, and social media or online marketing is also beneficial.

A high School diploma required for this role.  Preference given to candidates with post-secondary Training in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.

Past work experience in an administrative or creative role preferred.  Training may be provided to individuals who lack formal training but have exposure to marketing activities and are enthusiastic about a career in marketing, communications or advertising.
