Description

Newly created position! Prairie Sky Recovery is seeking a qualified candidate to support and counsel clients during evening hours in our residential centre located in Sask. This candidate must be able to demonstrate experience with Crystal Meth and polysubstance abuse. This candidate must reside on-site, Monday- Thursday in staff accommodations. Sorry, no pets!

Key responsibilities of the position include:
-Facilitate substance use program
-Provide individual and group counselling in support of clients specific treatment needs and goals
-Provide client support with the development and implementation of leisure and life skills development
-Assist in the development and delivery of current and future psycho-social educational programs
-Manage client case notes and related documentation
-Participate as an active member of the program team in assessments, client reviews, treatment planning, relapse prevention strategy development, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning

Experience in abstinence-based addiction treatment
and knowledge of the 12-step recovery model
