If you are an experienced Banquet and Events professional, we want to hear from you!
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre is currently recruiting for a FT  Supervisor to join our amazing Banquet/Events Team.
The Banquet Supervisor will assist in directing the day to day operations including service and set-up while working closely with the team to ensure 100% accuracy for our clients.
Primary Duties:
-ensure the entire team is delivering exceptional customer service to all guests by acting with a customer comes first attitude at all times
-establish rapport and connect with guests and meeting convenors to ensure their requests are met and event runs smoothly - setting an example for the team and acting as a mentor/leader/coach
-oversee banquet service operations, ensuring all banquet service details are executed as per the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
-communicate areas of opportunities from guests to management in a timely manner
-active liaison between the guests and other associates to ensure outstanding customer service
    
Working Conditions:
- ability to continuously stand, bend, and lift up to 20lbs unassisted
- fast paced environment, often demanding requiring quick action and thinking on your feet
- weekend and holidays as required  candidates should have open availability with limited restrictions.
Required Education & Qualifications:
-grade 12 or equivalent
-min 2-3 years experience in a Food/Beverage role
-valid Serve It Right Certification or provincial equivalent required
-strong communication, leadership and organization with ability to delegate tasks to peers with follow-up and feedback as required
-ability to recognize and correct guest service issues in a courteous and professional manner
Must have open availability to work a variety of shifts and holidays.

 - Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
