- Wash dishes and other items carefully and sanitize them in accordance with health standard
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Scour pots and pans on daily basis
- Sweeping and mopping floor accurately inclduing some front of house areas
- Organizing supplies and inventory in prioritize order
- Remove trash and keep the kitchen clean at all times
- Communicate effectively with cooks and co-workers
Education: completion of secondary school is required
Work experience: minimum of 1-5 years of experience serving and helping in kitchen in a restaurant environment
Salary: commensurate with experience
Skills: team work, problem solving, working with minimal supervision and excellent communication skills
Dishwashing Skills
- Scour pots and pans
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Operate pot-washing machines
- Clean and polish silverware
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
