Employment Type:  Full-Time, In-Scope
Location:         Saskatoon
Salary Range:     $4,299.33 - $4,952.07 per month
                  ($28.35 - $32.65/hour
Hours of Work:    Field Hours  37.5 hours per week
          1 extra day off every two weeks
Travel:           Yes, 25% of the time
Criminal Record Check:    Required, including vulnerable sector query as a condition of employment.

The Canadian Mental Health Association (Saskatchewan Division) Inc. invites applications for the position of Justice Community Support Worker III. If you have a strong interest in working with and being a positive role model for at risk adult offenders in the community, consider joining our team!

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the criminal justice system and the mental health and addictions systems, theories, intervention strategies, indicators and dynamics of addictions, domestic violence, poverty, disabilities, family relationships, abuse, neglect and their impacts.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to engage resistant individuals, the ability to accurately assess, develop and adjust case, treatment and intervention plans based on client needs.

The successful candidate will work in a multi-task environment with changing demands and priorities, which will require the person hired to be responsible, flexible and adaptable in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Justice Community Support Program.

Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be acquired through an applied professional degree in human services and directly related community experience.

We are seeking a confident individual who will demonstrate honesty, integrity and exhibit leadership and professionalism with clients and stakeholders.
