Saskatchewan Polytechnics School of Information and Communications Technology invites applications for an ongoing instructor position in the Software Developer post graduate certificate program at the Saskatoon Campus. The Software Developer post-graduate certificate will prepare students for the challenges of developing software products and web applications for clients. Software Developer is designed to expand a students current knowledge and skills into the fields of technology, computer applications, data communications, data design, and software analysis and design. Your supported development for instructional skills along with your industry experience will help students gain programming experience through hands-on learning, and to develop the skills necessary to analyze and design information technology based solutions.
1. The position will be instructing material in post graduate courses and related areas as required. These areas include courses in programming, website development, database management and UX/UI.
2. Development of curriculum and training materials in accordance with leading industry standards.
3. Instruction of theoretical material on-campus, online or by distance (print or video).
4. Classroom/lab preparation and instruction of practical learning outcomes.
5. Evaluation of students.
6. Administration duties including but not limited to meetings, student counseling, program inventories, etc.
