Description

Reporting to the Executive Chef, this position will aid in planning, leading and directing all aspects and requirements for the Food & Beverage Business unit.  The position assists all accounts, investigates customers complaints and make recommendations for resolution; leads a culinary team responsible for coordinating all culinary requirements at Evraz Place to ensure and provide quality service to both internal and external customers.  The position will provide direction and guidance to all other kitchen positions engaged in preparing and cooking menu items; prepares and presents full course entrees, soups, sauces, pastries and any other menu items required for the raw product stage in accordance with set quality standards; oversees the stewarding process and manages all aspects of food concerning pricing, ordering; controlling food inventories for all kitchens of Evraz Place.

Education and Experience:
Must Have Red Seal or Equivalent culinary education diploma or degree
WHIMS and HACCP
Safe food handling certification
Six to ten (6-10) years of experience as in similar position in a high volume kitchen operation, with three to five (3-5) years supervising in a high volume kitchen operation.
