Description

eHealth Saskatchewan:
This position reports to the Director, Finance and Administration and provides strategic oversight, management for contracts, contract resources, outsourcing and insourcing management and procurement and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities include:
Developing and managing the contract management process including audits to ensure compliance:
Maintaining an inventory of all eHealth contracts
Creating and updating policies regarding contract management
Creating and updating contract templates and standard contract language to facilitate contract development
Conducting research and trend analysis
Negotiating contracts and working closely with Legal and Policy unit to ensure appropriate legal review of contracts
Providing guidance and advice to eHealth management and staff regarding best practices in contract development

Developing and managing the procurement process:
Ensuring integrity and ethical application of the procurement
Ensuring compliance with policy and external regulations
Developing appropriate tools and methods
Ensuring the procurement evaluation includes qualitative and quantitative evaluation techniques and that due-diligence, transparency and fairness are executed in the selection process
Providing guidance and advice to eHealth management and staff regarding best practices in procurement
Conducting research and trend analysis

Managing eHealths facilities and parking
Managing assigned staff including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career planning
Preparing regular financial forecast, managing the units budget and participating in eHealths budget development process annually
