The Stakeholder Engagement Officer is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive, integrated communication, education and engagement plans and tactics using digital, face-to-face and print media to enhance our brand. You play a key role maintaining SHEPPs digital presence, including designing user experience, creating content and monitoring engagement. You are responsible for the engagement of external stakeholders, including members, pensioners and participating employers, and internal stakeholders including employees, the Board of Trustees and Partner Committees, providing accurate, timely, helpful and approachable service in day-to-day interactions with Plan stakeholders.

Qualified candidates have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a marketing or communications related field, supplemented by three or more years of relevant experience as well as previous experience in a fast-paced, project-based environment with emphasis on timelines and delivery. Credentials and professional designations through IABC or CPRS would be an asset.

You have knowledge of strategic communications practices and principles and experience designing and delivering communications and marketing plans to diverse audiences as well as knowledge of digital communications strategies and experience with new media technologies, email marketing, social media, photography and videography. You have public speaking experience and communicate complex topics in a meaningful and understandable way. You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro and have excellent writing, presentation and research skills.
