Position Overview:  
Located in our Central Office in Regina, SK, the successful candidate will join SAMA's Information Services Branch as a Programmer Analyst in this full-time, permanent position.  

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Information Services Applications, the Programmer Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing development, enhancement and maintenance services for the Agency's custom and commercial applications.
- Providing application support and technical assistance for the Agency's various computer application systems.
- Providing custom reports and data extracts.
- Providing end user support.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- University degree in a related field or;
- Diploma in business information systems and two (2) years experience;
- Demonstrated software skills using C#, Visual Basic, .Net, Python, SQL, and Crystal Reports.
- Working knowledge of GIS systems and mapping software including ESRI ArcGIS products.
- Good problem-solving skills, time management, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

A skills assessment/performance test will be used to assess candidate knowledge and experience.

Employment for candidates not currently employed with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
