Description

Responsibilities include:  
-Make certain that yellowcake is shipped appropriately
-Ensure dangerous goods are handled appropriately
-Ensure that regulatory, licensing, permit, and company requirements are met in an effective and timely manner
-Issuing of material from inventory
-Shipping and receiving of goods
-Stock coding new items
-Proper placement of inventory and direct charge material
-Physical inventory-cyclical counts
-Clerical work
-Operate forklift

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
-Demonstrated computer skills
-Able to operate a forklift
-Ability to converse in English
-Grade 12 supplemented by previous employment in warehousing mechanical parts
-Be able to pass an exam in Transportation of Dangerous Goods
-Have a valid Class 5 drivers license; Class 1 is an asset
-Accuracy in coding and entering all computer entries is essential
-Day or night shift
-Help maintain warehouse cleanliness, also cold storage and outdoor storage areas
-Able to lift up to 50lbs

Work Location & Schedule:  
-McClean Lake Mine site
-7 days in and 7 days out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours is frequently required

As a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Oranos pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.

Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all Safety Sensitive positions. Applicants who have recently used marijuana recreationally may not pass a substance test as marijuana can remain in the users system for as many as 30 days after use.
