Working vastly independent, the Fire Alarm Technician is a tremendous resource and an important element to both the technical aspects and the customer service aspects of the business. The Fire Alarm technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial fire alarm & sprinkler systems. Proficient computer skills will be required.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Minimum 2 years experience in a related field
High School diploma or higher is required as well as some post-secondary technical training
Member of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association would be a definite asset, but not mandatory
Troubleshooting systems and actively resolving any problems
Effective customer service skills in order to deliver an in-depth understanding of customer needs/wants
Completion of paperwork and other on-site documentation
Effectively work independently with little to no supervision
Proficient computer skills
