Description

GERRAND RATH JOHNSON LLP has an immediate opening for a RECEPTIONIST. As our ambassador for the firm, the ideal candidate is professional and friendly in both appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude plus excellent communication and organizational skills. In addition, good computer knowledge of word documents and spreadsheets is essential. The successful applicant must have above average communication/interpersonal skills, be comfortable talking to clients either on the telephone or greeting clients in person and have a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times and understand the importance of discretion.

The position will involve responsibilities which include:

* answering a multi-line phone system and directing calls to the appropriate person/department and answering general inquiries

* greeting clients

*  accepting payment from clients

*  handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries

*  assisting with general administrative tasks

*  updating library material as required

*  keeping the reception area neat and tidy
