*Position will be based in Toronto, Surrey, Regina or Saskatoon or within a home based environment.

The Commercial Banking Director provides leadership and direction in the origination of commercial loans & mortgages through the provision of industry leading financial services offered by Concentra Bank.  The successful candidate will work closely with borrowers, key credit union partners as well as third party suppliers. Building and maintaining strong relationships within all three channels is essential to successfully meet business acquisition objectives, ensure strong deal flow and provide effective ongoing portfolio management. This position will lead origination activities, oversee the review, assessment and underwriting of high quality commercial loan assets and provide effective relationship and portfolio management while building and maintaining a commercial loan and mortgage portfolio that meets both internal balance sheet requirements and supports external investment/syndication needs.

As an industry expert, you will continually work to build Concentra's brand and create recognition of Concentra as a valued partner through your technical expertise, market knowledge and superior service delivery. You will ensure origination and supplier expectations are met to facilitate ongoing loan growth and contribute to achievement of Concentra business objectives and profitability goals.  

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of ten years of progressive & diversified commercial lending experience complimented by a post-secondary degree in business, accounting, or related field. You have demonstrated success managing a team; providing coaching and guidance in the areas of credit underwriting, risk assessment and credit structuring to build a strong portfolio. You are client focused and ensure the right strategies are implemented to exceed client expectations while maintaining strong relationships.
