Description

As Plant Manager, you will:

-Manage plant operating expenses, capital projects and expenditures, and budgets.
-Manage all aspects of the Manufacturing facility including but not limited to:  management of warehousing and all related aspects, procurement of raw materials, manufacturing of products, maintenance on manufacturing equipment, sourcing necessary equipment for day to day operations, manage staff, work with any potential clients that would rent space in the warehouse.
-Complete monthly inventory reports of raw materials and finished goods and update the General Manager regarding the status of plant activities.
-Comply and enforce all safety policies and procedures while working to advance and promote the safety culture of the shop site.
-Coordinate activities to ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with industry and regulatory standards.
-Direct and approve production schedules to meet business demands.
-Supervise plant performance metrics and consistently identify continuous improvement activities at the site.
-Provide direction to staff to successfully achieve measurable goals (KPIs) in asset utilization, process and manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction.
-Ensure communication of key business and customer issues to employees and pursue and oversee implementation of required tasks.
-Maintain a positive and healthy relationship with regulatory agencies.
-Consistently achieve established cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
-Ensure assigned employees are aware of and comply with all government, company and applicable policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
-Collaborate with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time.
