Reporting to the Supervisor of Patron Services the Lab Rats Science Club Coordinator is responsible for designing and a delivering an after-school science program for children aged 6-12. The Coordinator will prepare and deliver lessons on the concepts of S.T.R.E.A.M. - Scientific, Technical, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics in an informal and fun manner.
Qualifications
* Possesses a combination of relevant education and work experience.
* Experience in working with children.
* Computer literacy.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Must have a demonstrated ability to exercise reasonable judgment and discretion. * Must be able to establish work priorities with assigned responsibilities.
* Ability to work with adults and children is essential. * Must be able to work independently. * Current criminal record check with vulnerable sector check required.
