David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Manager of Repair Services/Assistant Plant Manager.
Located in Regina, Saskatchewan, this is a full time, permanent opportunity with an industry-leading organization that values innovation, and continuous improvement. The Role:  SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR FULL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will oversee Supervisors assigned across two shifts, driving performance metrics, and ensuring the efficient and effective management of repair operations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supervise repair operations and maintain repair production schedule via effective coordination of your direct reports
Monitor productivity, safety, & quality of work in each area
Organize and conduct safety training, assist in the preparation of accident reports, and cultivate an overall culture of safety within the organization
Participate in meetings with the Union Committee

The Ideal Candidate:
University degree or college diploma in a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of safety practices, welding and metal fabrication, and blueprint reading
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership and team-building experience
Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
