Established in 1991, Saskarc Inc. is an industry-leading custom metal fabrication company. We serve the oil and gas, power generation, mining, construction, government and petrochemical industries across North America.

Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, controlling, and delivery of all operational manufacturing, and related aspects of the company. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager provides the leadership, management and the vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, manufacturing standards, quality improvement and reporting procedures, and adequate manpower in place to effectively grow the organization while ensuring financial strength and operating efficiency.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
- University Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Business or Finance preferred with minimum 5 years direct experience in the
discipline or progressive direct experience over the last 5 years.
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
Strong knowledge of fabrication and ability to be a resource for trouble shooting and creating more efficient fabrication processes and procedures
Demonstrated ability to manage key constituent relationships, including Finance, Legal, and Human Resources.
Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.
Strong knowledge of fiscal management and responsibility, business finance, capital funding, contracts, and partnerships.
Sound understanding of risk management.
