Responsibilities and Duties
Calculate and determine dimensions, tapers, angles and other data using shop formula
Use appropriate inserts and tooling for job being machined
Set up and operate machine tools
Able to machine parts to precision tolerance and specified finishes
Able to use precision measuring instruments
Perform minor repairs on machines and assist in major repairs as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic equipment skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Good Task Management
Use hand tools
Measure precisely
Operate forklift
Operate Crane
CNC experience
Valid driver's licence
Transportation/Travel Information
- Valid driver's licence
Security and Safety
- Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment
- Steel-toed safety boots
