Description

Walker Projects Inc. is a multi-disciplinary consulting Engineering and Project Management firm.  We are searching for an experienced Environmental Lead to join our team in Regina.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a challenging position within a professional services organization.
Position Summary
As an experienced Environmental Engineer, Scientist or Technologist, your role is to lead various sized environmental projects and provide technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Determine project scope, schedules and fees, resource planning, work plans, and preparation of proposal materials as required.
Lead the following environmental technical functions:
o Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments
o Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations
o Soil, Groundwater and Soil Vapor monitoring programs
o Air Quality Monitoring, Mould and Asbestos Sampling and Abatement
o Remediation Programs - Emergency Spill response programs
Manage projects, prepare technical environmental reports, and conduct and/or lead field work.
Conduct peer and quality reviews on all applicable projects.
Qualifications and Competencies
A post-secondary degree or diploma in an environmental field.
Eligibility for registration as a Qualified Person in the Saskatchewan Environmental Code.
Technical document writing capabilities.
Proven client service and relationship building skills.
Demonstrated experience with a broad range of engineering tools, analysis and design.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.
Advanced knowledge of project management principles and processes.
