Description

Under the direction of the EYFRC Management Committee and the KidsFirst NORTH Program Manger:

DUTIES:
Include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee day to day administration & operation of the EYFRC.
* Develop & deliver programming at the Centre & within the tri-communities of La Ronge, Air Ronge and Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
* Establish & foster good working relationships with partner agencies in order to achieve the desired outcomes of the EYFRC.
* Engage parents, caregivers & young children to attend at & participate in programs & services.
* Make recommendations, report to & take direction from the local EYFRC Management Committee & liaise with the Ministry of Education.
* Develop an annual strategic community plan & budget.
* Provide staff supervision, leadership & mentoring that supports the values of family engagement, diversity, compassion & openness at the Centre.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following:
* Experience & training in the planning & delivery of programs & services to adults & children, both one-on-one & in group settings.
* Knowledge of quality early learning environments typically gained through Level III Early Childhood Certification or a degree in the Human Services Field.  An equivalent combination of experience & education will be considered.
* Experience managing a team of staff in the delivery of programming.
* Experience working in a collaborative environment with community partners.
* Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
* Valid First Aid/CPR.
* Valid Drivers License, 5 Year Driver's Abstract & ability to travel.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime, early evenings & weekends.
* Basic computer knowledge as well as the use of social media to engage parents & community.
A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK WITH VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK AND DRIVERS ABSTRACT MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE RESUMES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW.
