Seeking Team Members for our up and coming caf in Southeast Saskatchewan. The Optimist Eatery & Caf offers a higher end dining experience than your normal small town establishment. Gourmet Espresso, Beer on Tap, Fresh ingredients, and premier selection. Our kitchen has been equipped with state of the art items that you normally find in high volume, largely populated establishments...this caf was built to be clean, safe and comfortable for many years to come!
Not from Redvers? No problem; we are willing to accommodate individuals wishing to do shift work. We are also will to negotiate furnished living arrangements as well.
Openings immediately for the following
8 day on/ 6 day off rotation
2week on/ 2 week off rotation
1 month on/ 1 month off rotation
standard weekly rotation (40 hours)
Offer type will be based on candidates experience level. No experience required to apply
Dishwashing Skills
- Scour pots and pans
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Operate pot-washing machines
- Clean and polish silverware
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware

- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
- Take customers' orders
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars

- Portion and wrap foods

- Keep records of the quantities of food used
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
