Description

Duties;
    Supervises scheduling and daily assignment of duties for all staff
    Makes changes in staffing as required to accommodate patient volume
    Prepares and maintains an on call schedule
Familiar with billing and reconciliation of billings
    ensuring accuracy and efficient reconciling
    Supervises the referral clerks, ensuring continuity of patient care
    Supervises the work flow within the clinic, including patient screening and assessment
    Maintains ongoing communication with the physicians and staff
    Collaborates with the staff members to facilitate the provision of patient care
    Interviews applicants and makes recommendations concerning vacant staff positions
    Reviews and approves leave requests for all staff, reviews and signs time cards
    Assists in developing and implementing programs to keep staff informed of new programs or processes in the clinic
    Identifies areas of improvement to the staff
    Liaises with the physicians and assists the Clinical Medical Director
    Knows each staffs position and areas of responsibility intrinsically
    Trains staff on clinic systems and procedures
    Able to step in as required to each staffs position
    Organizes flow of patient data, maintains an 'outage' protocol
    Oversee clinic inventory and supply ordering

Skills;
    Knowledge of administrative and supervisory problems involved in administration services within a medical clinic
    Knowledge of clinical policies and procedures
    Ability to supervise the work of others
    Ability to maintain accurate records
    Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians and vendors
    A genuine interest in people and helping others
    Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
    Strong listening skills
    Tact and the ability to stay calm during stressful periods and able to deal with conflict as it arises
    Friendly, outgoing personality
    Strong organizational skills
