Description

Viterra is seeking a motivated and analytical thinker to join our team as an Auditor in our Head Office located in Regina, SK. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting assigned financial, operational, compliance and information systems audits to provide reasonable assurance that internal controls are effective, internal and external financial and operating reports are accurate, company assets are safeguarded and efficiently utilized, and company policies are complied with.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to identify process improvements.
Adaptable with the ability to learn new concepts and apply them in different business scenarios.
Enjoys a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, analysis, and the practical application of management concepts.
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff in a diverse industry.
Experience performing data analysis audits and using data analytics software will be considered an asset.

Education and Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years experience in financial, operational or information systems auditing or in financial analysis.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Commerce/Administration with a major in accounting.
CPA graduate.
Knowledgeable in MS Office. Advanced skills in using MS Excel will be considered an asset.
Detailed knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
Working knowledge of The IIA's Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing will be considered an asset.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge, skill, and competence will be considered.
