Teachers at Whitmore Park Co-op are required to ensure the safety of the attending children while also providing opportunities for growth and discovery.  Working as a team with co-workers and parents is essential to the success of the daycare.
In addition, teachers are responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of snacks and meals.  There is also some general cleaning required to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained.
This position will work one on one with a three year old child with diverse abilities each morning and will a support staff in the afternoon. Support staff duties will include giving coffee breaks/lunchbreaks, light cleaning and walking school age children from school.
