EMPLOYMENT TERMS
Entry level position
Part time (to start)
20 + hours per week
Working toward eventual full time
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with R&D / design team to complete 3d models and 2d shop drawings.
Submit models to Engineer for design review.
Breakout components for shop drawings.
Add weld symbols to shop drawings.
Use Cad software for c.n.c. plasma bed and program plasma bed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Proficiency with Sketchup Pro is preferred.
Meticulous attention to detail; strong mechanical background with focus on structural design
Experience with steel fabrication, manufacturing processes, machining methods, including material selection, welding processes and component design.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Practical experience with product development and testing.
Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
Familiar with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
