The Manager,Tenant Relations is a key player on the senior management team of The Battlefords Housing Authority.
Reporting to the General Manager, this position works directly with the tenant relations team and oversees effective delivery of housing programs that provide safe, secure and affordable housing for the community; being the liaison with community agencies/human services organizations and, providing leadership to the tenant relations staff.
What youll do:
-Work directly with the Tenant Relations team, ensuring effective, efficient delivery of programs and services to qualified clients.
-Ensure internal operating policies/plans align with SHC standards and comply with relevant acts, regulations and laws.
-Liaise and assist tenant groups; manage escalated tenant/tenant group conflict resolution.
-Participate in developing budget requirements, operations strategy and communication strategy.
What were looking for:
-Demonstrated ability to handle conflict, deal with sensitive issues and respect confidentiality.
-Experience working with seniors, families and at-risk individuals.
-An effective communicator with the ability to influence others and resolve complex issues.
What youll need:
-A degree in human services, social work or similar discipline combined with 3-5 years related experience, or combination of education and related experience.
-Demonstrated leadership, excellent judgment and analytical skills
-Proficient with MS Office Suite, experience with JD Edwards a definite asset.
