Goodwin Financial Solutions Corp. is looking for a detail oriented individual to join their team as a part time Administrative Assistant. As a Sun Life office, we provide solutions to clients to meet both their near and long term goals with investment, retirement, estate, tax, and risk management strategies. The administrative assistant provides support to the advisors to implement and maintain these strategies.
This position is permanent part time, Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3PM. This position would reflect that of the school year, having the same days off as students, as well as holiday breaks and summer holidays off as well.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greeting clients coming into the office
- Monitoring email inquiries
- Answering phone calls (multiple lines) as well as making calls to clients
- Filing client forms/documents
- Auditing client files
- Uploading documents to various computer programs
- Preparing mail and ordering courier pick ups
- Preparing client forms
- Booking meetings for the Advisor(s)
- Creating reports/spreadsheets
- Tracking documents/forms submitted for processing and monitoring multiple programs at once
Qualifications:
- Life or Mutual Fund Licenced not required, but an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, more specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to create, maintain, or update administrative systems as needed
- Organization and time management skills essential
- Ability to work well with a team as well as on your own
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients
- High attention to detail always
- Preference will be given to those with past directly applicable experience, and/or relevant post secondary education
