Description:
- The Home Visitor is a voluntary service to
parents of children between the ages of 0-3. The
program is delivered through curriculum to promote
child development, family dynamics and
parent/child relationship. It is culturally
relevent, child centered, family focused and
strength based. Home Visitors provide on-going
intensive support services, transportation and
advocacy.
Essential Skills:
-Computer knowledge, which includes databases.
-Believe in continuous learning and professional
development .
-Time management
-Quick decision making, problem solving and
critical thinking.
-Team oriented and strong independent skills.
-Demonstrate good oral and written skills.
-Able to work flexible hours, including evening
and weekends
